WOMUSIC is a joint venture between Mr V Music and WOMADelaide Foundation. The WOMUSIC privacy policy is given in conjunction with the WOMADelaide Foundation Privacy Policy. WOMUSIC is committed to the National Privacy Principles as outlined in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.

The privacy of your personal information is important to us. We have created this privacy statement to outline how we collect, use, and keep your personal information secure.

How does Womusic collect information?
We collect personal information through

• our website when you purchase CDs etc
• events such as WOMADelaide where you may choose to join our mailing list
• Arts Projects Australia websites & mailing lists

We aim to ensure that the personal information we retain about you is accurate, complete and stored securely to safeguard against misuse.

How does Womusic use this information?
We use this information to provide you with the products, services and information you request as well as information on other products and services offered or facilitated by us (Womusic & WOMADelaide Foundation). Your personal information may also be used by us to monitor and evaluate products and services, gather and aggregate statistical information, assist you with any queries and for auditing purposes.

Your information will not be shared with third parties for purposes aside from the reasons you supplied your information to Womusic, WOMADelaide Foundation or APA without your consent.

We may disclose personal information to organisations to which we outsource activities. These organisations provide bulk mailing services of newsletters and invitations, assessment against criteria for schemes and information technology support. We may also supply your contact details to market research organisations in order for them to request your participation in Arts Projects Australia commissioned market research.

APA ensures that the organisations it discloses your information to have privacy policies in place and are bound by strict confidentiality so as to protect your personal information.

You may elect to be removed from the WOMADelaide mailing list at any time. An unsubscribe button will be provided on all emails.

Individuals and organisations that know they are currently on a distribution list for marketing communications material can unsubscribe by emailing apadmin@artsprojects.com.au.
