We climb them. We sit beneath them. We hug them. Some of us even talk to them. But have they ever talked back? At WOMADelaide 2020, they will!
After years of gruelling botanical and technological research, it has been discovered that some trees CAN TALK! This is an earth-shattering discovery which delighted the international team of experts – who all thought they were barking up the wrong tree. As luck would have it, Botanic Park is home to some of the chattiest trees in the country. Talking Trees is a ground-breaking event which allows kids to have a face to trunk conversation with the leafy giants.
The Talking Trees ancient voices are captured by specially designed (and top secret!) gadgets, and received through wireless headphones. The rest is as easy as falling off a log – all you have to do is talk!
