Thank you for your interest in volunteering for WOMADelaide 2018! Before submitting an application, please take a few moments to read the information below.

For the first time in 2018 WOMADelaide is partnering with the Festival Volunteer Network (FVN) to assist with volunteer application and recruitment. The FVN is an independent, not for profit service that connects volunteers to the 11 major SA arts festivals under the Festivals Adelaide alliance. You will be asked initially to register your details with FVN, following which you will be able to apply directly for roles with WOMADelaide.

WOMADelaide engages hundreds of volunteers before, during and after the festival in a range of roles. Volunteers are highly valued and play an integral part in supporting key festival staff in the delivery and operations of the event. Volunteering provides an opportunity to meet like-minded people with a passion for the South Australian arts industry and experience a unique and alternative view of how a major festival operates. Most of all, volunteering is fun, rewarding and a great experience to put on your C.V!

Once you have completed the registration and application process via the Festival Volunteer Network our Volunteers Coordinator will review all applications in consultation with FVN and applicants will be notified by email by the end of January 2017 as to whether or not they have been allocated a position.

Please note, that whilst your application is appreciated, we unfortunately cannot place all applicants – we have received almost 3 times as many applications as available positions in recent years!

Applicants must be South Australian residents and 18 years old at the time of the festival.

Applications close 12 January 2018.

Please note: By joining the FVN you are under no obligation to volunteer at any other festival but you will have the option to receive information about or volunteer at other SA festivals. Please be sure to read all the information on the Festival Volunteer Network registration and application forms.
