Dance Workshop
Take a rhythmic journey with La Bomba as they explain and demonstrate the roots and traditions of Salsa, from its African musical influences to its birth as a street Latin dance style in Cuba and around the Americas – making it the most popular partnered dance form across the world today. This fun and interactive workshop will explain the function of each instrument as you learn solo and partnered salsa dance steps. You’ll be able to try basic Salsa moves, learn lead or follow tips and Afro Cuban body movement, understand Salsa musicality and clap out the clavé beat (the backbone of Salsa).
