After learning several musical instruments whilst growing up in Adelaide, it was DJ-ing that eventually satisfied Norsicaa’s far-reaching interest and taste in music. Relocating to the UK over 20 years ago, she hosted a long-running primetime slot on Soho Radio until 2023, as well as on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM. She has contributed several mixes to My Analog Journal, as well as Phonica Records, HHV Records, Dublab, The Vinyl Factory and more. Norsicaa has also performed live on Boiler Room, alongside KOKOKO! and Zakia, with her set gaining acclaim from music fans and DJs alike. In her eight years as General Manager for the respected independent record label, Soundway Records, she delivered over a hundred new music releases including her 2024 compilation Ayo Ke Disco. For this project, she tapped into her extensive collection of Asian records to curate tracks that reflect Southeast Asia's dynamic nightlife and musical identities.
