What if trees could talk? What stories would they tell? Large trees have long lifespans and are witness to the changing times around them. Silent Observers is an art installation made of tree discs that are brought to life through precise light-projection mapping. This beautiful work, set to music, accentuates the trees growth rings to remind us that trees are living beings and not just a resource for humankind. The animation shifts from individual disc designs to colourful combined patterns that dance with the music, a custom piano soundtrack by the late Jonathan Peter Nix. H0RSE Public Art & Design Studio in NSW are award-winning artists and designers who are passionate about creating enchanting, immersive visual experiences.
