Critically acclaimed New Zealand choreographer Chloe Loftus and Belgian dancer and choreographer Florent Devlesaver come together for this captivating aerial dance piece. The two dancers, with Devlesaver in his wheelchair, spiral into the air, exploring our capacity to coexist in balance and harmony. In this inimitable and mesmerising performance, they are like planets circling each other, magnetically pulled by the other’s energy. Italian born and NZ bred, Loftus emigrated to the UK in 1997, working internationally as a freelance dancer and founding Chloe Loftus Dance in 2005. Back in New Zealand since 2016, she works there with Devlesaver who started his dance career after a workplace accident left him in a wheelchair when he was 17. It was by wanting to reclaim his body that he discovered the art of dance and fell in love with it.
