With honeyed vocals and magnetic charisma, Papua New Guinean-born artist KAIIT (pronounced ky-yeet) is one of Australia’s most compelling musical forces. A blend of neo-soul and hip-hop, with a dash of intimate jazz club magic, she delivers raw storytelling with velvet vocals. After seeing one of her early videos, neo-soul queens Jill Scott and Erykah Badu dubbed her their ‘musical love child from Down Under’. KAIIT has since built a truly global community of fans, amassing more than 30 million streams and 90,000 followers on Spotify. She achieved a career highlight when she took home Best Soul/R&B Release at the 2019 ARIA Awards for the sun-speckled bop ‘Miss Shiney’.
