Spearheaded by Melbourne-born, Berlin-based drummer and producer Ziggy Zeitgeist, Z*F*E*X brings together influences of jazz, funk and electronic dance music to create a signature ‘hi-tech jazz’. One of the coolest acts on the club circuit, they have performed at Church of Sound and We Out Here Festival in the UK, ÜBERJAZZ Festival in Hamburg, Meredith Music Festival and Melt Festival in Australia, to mention just a few. Their 2025 release Inspire // Radicalise brings their dance-floor energy to jazz improvisations, while tapping into a late 70s/early 80s production era. The album is a bold exploration of sound and a deep dive into the tension between popular culture and individuality.
