If you are an artist interested in performing at WOMADelaide 2018, Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are accepted between 1 May - 1 August only.

International Artists – please note that EOIs can only be sent by Australia-based agents/promoters looking to produce a tour of Australia/NZ or international agents/promoters with an existing relationship with WOMAD/WOMADelaide. International artists with no manager, no agent or no local promoter/producer in place as their Australian visa sponsor are unable to be considered due to the number of applications we receive. Note that we don’t take EOIs for KidZone, The Planet Talks, Taste the World, Workshops or yoga.

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for:

  • The WOMADelaide Foundation is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals or organisations to manage the operations of the Bar facilities at WOMADelaide 2018. The festival manages and operates 5 bars at the festival with a combination of paid staff and volunteers with the Bar Manager responsible to the festival director for the overall management and presentation of the facilities. The operation includes effective liaison with the festivals suppliers, contractors and key staff and operates with a POS sales and stock management system.

Expressions of interest for consideration should be sent to Di Farrell, Finance Manager -, setting out details of the applicants relevant experience in the management and presentation of a high volume bar facility in the context of large scale events, by Friday 30 June, 2017.


A limited number of tertiary student placements may be available with WOMADelaide between Nov 2017 and Mar 2018. Details of these will be posted here IF they become available. Unless you are doing a relevant tertiary course we are unable to accept high school students or others for work experience.
