Touring for over a decade, this exuberant and hypnotic work transcends the limits of human body and dance.
A ten-act performance structured like a live music concert flowing through different stages of movement, Body Concert has been described by choreographer Boram Kim as a piece “that pushes the dancers to the edge”. Since its first performance in Seoul’s Arko Arts Theatre in 2010, Body Concert has emerged as one of the most frequently staged works in South Korea, and an ideal introduction to contemporary dance.
Ambiguous Dance Company was founded by Boram Kim and dancer Kyeong Min Jang in 2008. Escaping from genres and preconceptions, the company expresses what is in their hearts through movement and music. Rather than focusing on delivering an artistic message or deep meaning, they intend to convey the true nature and purity of humanity, believing that the bodily expression of music and dance form the most accurate and truest language.
