A cultural creator, rapper, songwriter, and ballroom icon. Proudly Māori (Ngāpuhi/Tainui) and Samoan, and representing Western Sydney (Dharawal land), Jamaica Moana fuses rap, R&B, and soul with ancestral fire and a fierce queer identity. Backed by her signature live band, she’s reached global heights with showcases at Bangkok Music City, SXSW (USA), The Great Escape (UK) and Reeperbahn Festival (Germany). The release of her debut EP Bud & Deni in 2025 paved the way for her first headline tour of Australia and New Zealand and a support slot for American violinist and singer Sudan Archives.
A leader in the Ballroom scene, she’s a co-founder of The West Ball, where she commands the floor and carves out space for queer, trans, and BIPOC creatives to express, heal, and own their power. Jamaica Moana is a true artist; untouchable, unstoppable, unforgettable.
