FAQs
FIRST AID TENT
Should you need assistance, there are two First Aid Tents at WOMADelaide. The St John First Aid tent is located between the Foundation Stage and Stage 2. Another First Aid Tent is located between Stage 7 and Frome Park Pavilion.
There will also be a TerryWhite Chemmart pop-up pharmacy next to the St John First Aid tent with pharmacists available to assist with any health needs.
ASTHMA MANAGEMENT
Anyone who feels they may be at risk should take the following steps:
- Bring your medication.
- Note the location of the nearest first aid tent in case you do need any assistance.
- Wear a mask at Gratte Ciel’s Place des Anges if you feel there is a risk of a negative reaction to the feathers in the performance.
- If you are concerned of an adverse reaction, we recommend avoiding the performance itself (nightly at the Foundation stage) and plan to visit different areas of Botanic Park at that time.
For more information on asthma first aid please visit www.asthma.org.au.
A SUSTAINABLE FESTIVAL
Please help us to take care of the beautiful Botanic Park and do not climb the trees. Look after yourself and your friends in the crowd, and at all times treat your fellow music lovers with respect, patience and understanding.
WOMADelaide has a zero-waste-to-landfill target and all waste streams are sorted on-site, so please take the time to ensure you use the correct bins.
PLEASE RETURN YOUR CUP
How it works:
1. All cups are washed on-site and re-used at the festival.
2. Place used cups in the blue ‘cup return bins’ anywhere at the festival.
3. Can’t find a bin? You can return cups at all bars and exits too.
